For the past 28 years, the Shareplan operation has offered AXA’s employees the opportunity to enabling to become shareholders under preferential conditions and engage in the Group’s development and success.
In 2020, Shareplan took place in 37 countries with over 110,000 employees who were exceptionally exclusively offered the “traditional” formula at a known subscription price, amid challenging market conditions. Despite this, nearly 15% of the eligible employees, subscribed to Shareplan for aggregate proceeds of over Euro 88 million.
I am glad to announce that this year both traditional and leverage formulas will be proposed again, depending on your local offer.
The Group’s 1H 21 underlying earnings released on August 2 were very strong with revenues up 7% to €54 billion and underlying earnings reaching Euro 3.6 billion up 101% and representing a 12% growth excluding the impact from Covid-19 last year. This strong result was achieved across all our markets, and notably at AXA XL with very good underwriting performance.
AXA’s balance sheet remained very strong, as illustrated by our solvency II ratio of 212% at the end of June, up 12 points from the end of 2020.”
As part of Driving Progress 2023, AXA continues its transformation journey, and the Group is playing an active role in society by supporting the economic recovery and strengthening further its engagement towards shaping climate transition.
These excellent results reflect the collective efforts of all AXA’s colleagues, agents and partners.
