I am delighted to announce the launch, for the 31st consecutive year, of Shareplan, our employee share ownership plan.

Shareplan is deeply rooted in AXA's history, its culture, and is a success every year. In 2023, more than 23,000 employees participated in the operation, representing 21% of eligible employees with a total investment of nearly 348 million euros, an increase of 17% compared to 2022. The average personal investment of employees also increased by 10.7% despite a context of sustained inflation.
After a period of successful transformation of the Group, last February we presented our new strategic plan Unlock The Future 2024-2026, of which one of the pillars is organic and profitable growth. Our ambition is to accelerate AXA's development.
I am proud of the first results of this plan. In the first half of 2024, our excellent results demonstrate the success of our strategic choices. They also reflect the strength of our business model, the vitality of our distribution networks and the commitment of our employees. Our revenues rose by 7% to 59.9 billion euros. This demonstrates our strong growth momentum across all our business lines. Underlying earnings rose by 4% to 4.2 billion euros, demonstrating our technical and operational excellence.
All this proves that we have everything we need to achieve our objectives for 2024 and gives us confidence for the continued execution of our strategic plan.
Shareplan in 2024 brings back the Classic offer and the Guaranteed Plus offer, with 40 AXA entities worldwide deciding to participate in the operation, and several new features integrated into this new edition (a more user-friendly new subscription website, a simulator to assist you in your investment decision, and this new brochure containing all the useful information to help you make an informed investment decision).
